The Ongutoi Health Centre has reached out to give an update on the Covid 19 situation in Uganda. They’ve gone back into lockdown as of last Sunday due to a spike of 130% in their numbers.
However, we were informed that with the support of our donations they have received critical medicines and continued work on a new inpatient room! Local residents have lined up (socially distanced, of course!) at the new facility to receive care and treatment! This good news couldn’t have come at a better time given the generally negative global outlook for over a year now.
