Electrical Technician

We are looking for a detail-oriented team player with electrical experience who is eager to work and learn about this rapidly expanding industry. The Electrical Technician will work at our facility in Uxbridge as well as travel to various job sites across Southern Ontario performing service, troubleshooting, maintenance and inspections on this high value, hard working equipment.

What you will do:
- Assemble, maintain and refurbish construction hoists, building maintenance units and other products for various high rise projects
- Troubleshoot electrical issues in the shop and on job sites
- Ensure safety and communication are prioritized
- Prioritize safety while ensuring deadlines are met
- Travel to job sites to provide support to colleagues and clients
What you bring:
- Self starter
- Able to work independently and part of a crew
- Clear and concise communication skills
- 5-7 years of previous electrical drive and motor experience
- Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
- Skilled at troubleshooting control circuits
- Self motivated
- Able to work at heights and outdoors
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn
- Valid driver’s license and clear drivers abstract
Nice to have:
- Working at Heights Certification
- EDM-T Certification
- Welding experience
