INDUSTRIAL ELEVATORS

SPECIAL APPLICATION ELEVATORS

UCEL carries multiple types of industrial elevators for jobsites, so you can tackle projects with the best materials for the job. For instance, we offer a full line of rack-and-pinion Special Application Elevators designed for special environments and applications where a traditional elevator will not work. That way, you can rely on industrial elevators without compromising quality or safety.

The rack-and-pinion design allows an easier installation and the elimination of an enclosed hoistway. We can provide oversized machines on twin-masts with specialized weight sensors to accommodate loads in excess of 7,250KG (16,000 LBS) at high speeds. We can also supply miniature single-person elevators for tight spaces.

Our carefully vetted partners manufacture machines designed to work on explosion proof, varying inclines, near high heat, on mobile platforms and many other special applications. When you’re ready to find the proper option for your job site, browse the list below to learn more about the special purpose elevator designs we offer.

INCLINE/DECLINE

We can provide machines ideal for a variety of grades including straight, gradual and varied inclines/declines.

Please inquire for a quote on the configuration best suited to your project.

CHEMICAL ENVIRONMENTS

Corrosive chemicals found in some industrial facilities and prolonged exposure to humidity or salt water environments can take a toll on the life of any equipment. To ensure years of reliable performance, UCEL-sold elevators are built with superior materials and components and are coated with durable surface finishes with extra focus on safeguarding all sensitive electrical parts. UCEL can provide machines in many levels of NEMA enclosures with a wide range of special materials and finishes.

HAZARDOUS ENVIRONMENTS

We can supply elevators in ATEX or NEMA designs to ensure safe operations in hazardous environments such as refineries, hazardous substance storage facilities, mines and other dangerous locations.

Please see our product table below for more information on available units.

EXPLOSION PROOF

Our explosion proof elevators meet ASME 17.1, ANSI a10.4 and EN 81.1 regulations in areas where combustible gases, dusts or substances pose a threat. We can also accommodate customized explosion proof elevator specifications depending on the needs dictated by your project. We can provide equipment up to Class 1, Division 2, which meets NEC and ATEX requirements.
